FLOAT OKLAHOMA’S MOUNTAIN FORK RIVER

The upper Mountain Fork River winds through the Kiamichi Mountains and offers a wonderful journey through a scenic mountain forest. The most popular trip lasts about four hours (shorter trips are possible) and begins near Hatfield, Arkansas, just a short distance upstream from Cloud 9 Retreat.

There are kayaks and a canoe for our guests to use at Cloud 9. The floating conditions can vary widely and you should check with us in advance since parts of the river are not floatable during the drier months.
