FLOAT OKLAHOMA’S MOUNTAIN FORK RIVER

The upper Mountain Fork River winds through the Kiamichi Mountains and offers a wonderful journey through a scenic mountain forest. Our most popular trip lasts about four hours (shorter trips are available) and begins near Hatfield, Arkansas, just a short distance upstream from Cloud 9 Retreat. We provide the shuttle service to the put-in and your vehicle will be waiting at the Mountain Fork low water bridge, just one-quarter mile from Cloud 9 Retreat.

You can rent a canoe or a kayak or you can bring your own and we will provide full shuttle service. The floating conditions can vary widely and you should check with us in advance since parts of the river are not floatable during the drier months.
